You'll be joining a highly technical founding team, including leading researchers and engineers from Google DeepMind/Brain and Microsoft who pioneered research in language models, shipped GenAI products to billions in production, paired with domain expertise from top finance and consulting firms (Coatue, Bain, Y Combinator).

Founding Analyst – Product & Domain Expert

Compensation: Base salary of $150,000 - $300,000. Top-of-market equity
Location: San Francisco Bay Area (San Mateo, CA)

Your role

We're seeking someone with deep financial analyst domain expertise to help shape our AI-native product for finance. You've lived the analyst workflow at a top firm – you know the pain points, the data sources that matter, and what "good" looks like in financial analysis. You'll use that expertise to guide product decisions, evaluate AI output quality, and prototype new features. This isn't a traditional finance role – you'll work closely with founders and engineers, using AI tools daily to build the product that you wish you'd had.

You, the ideal candidate:

Deep domain knowledge of financial analyst workflows, with experience in buy-side roles covering public markets, private real estate, or private equity
Served as an analyst at a top-tier firm (e.g. leading hedge fund, PE firm, or real estate investment firm)
AI-native – comfortable using tools like Claude Code to prototype ideas and build workflows
Strong product sense with the ability to prioritize features that make analyst workflows dramatically better, identify high-value data to acquire, and understand what would drive adoption among other analysts
Can evaluate and audit AI output for financial analysis – knows what good looks like and can establish quality benchmarks
Excited to work at the intersection of finance and AI, shaping the product from the ground up
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate domain expertise into clear product requirements
